Hi Mrs O, Green Granny, Mrs G and Granny Moss.
There seems to be a sense of 'get up and go' emerging here :run: !
I've made a list of things I want to do this year (I'm not tempting fate by calling it a Bucket List!) and a trip to Brighton is on my list for April! I haven't been to Brighton since 7th February 1979 when I went to see an Ice Skating Panto (and how come I remember the date so clearly? Its the day I gave up smoking - for good!!!). Tomorrow its The Kings Speech with my partner :smooch: at our local cinema and Sunday I'm taking my daughter to London to the O2 Arena to see the 'Strictly Come Dancing' tour (sad I know :lol but it was my daughter's choice even though I told her she'll probably be the youngest one there!) I wasn't well enough to take her out on her 40th birthday last May due to the PMR so I feel a sense of acheivement being able to do something with her now. Of course I'll have to follow Mrs O's example and have a slice of chocolate gateau :cake: I wouldn't like to let the side down.
(Today's delights? Clean the bathroom, walk into Town and enjoy the company of our best friends to supper tonight - big pot of Bolognese and a bottle of something red :redwine: - simples!)

What a lovely bunch of young ladies you are !....All full of the Joy of Spring !...Poor me had a couple of old friends, to call for what should have been an informal lunch...only, reckoned without this husband of mine, that has the knack to turn a simple salad meal into a banquet....he goes for the wine, the percolated coffee, the sherry to welcome them in...the all charade....and it has ended with a mountain of washing up...that I had to do, because \"better half has butter fingers, and the kitchen floor has hard tiles.....I had a very good morning free of the dreaded pains, and the doctor called on the 'phone to tell me that the Vit D check is done for ladies near menopause....and I said : My goodness, I am well past the sell by date !.....Vit D at 40.000U per day ? Is that so ? If I took them without prescription, would them cause me some trouble ?
I am ready for bed now...and I think that it would be a good idea if I did not bother to get up tomorrow morning. I think I go and cover the calendar so that I will not know what day it is...Good night and bless you all. Love, Granny Moss
