I’ve had no sores on my penis and no flu like symptoms. i did have unprotcted sex with a girl about 4 weeks ago who said she was “tested for everything” and clean but I dont know for sure if she was tested for hsv. I took a test the week after and I was neg for evrything except hsv1.
so then i guess you have genital hsv type 1. that does look like herpes g
it looks like jock itch
id try a butt paste with zinc but obviously get tested to be sure
the person already got tested. he was pos for type 1
sorry oif i wasn’t as deceptivdescriptive. the test i took was an iGG test which indicated hsv1 had already been in my body for at least 3 months. ive never had a cold sore or a breakout on my genetials so this is something new.
i looked up jockitch and it does look very similar and the symptoms line up. thank to for the advice, i will go back to get tested in a week or so to make sure but ill also try the cream approach as well!
oh no. today’s IGG tests can detect herpes as early as 3 weeks. some people take longer to show which is why they say to wait til 3 months.
hsv type 1 is only on the mouth… i work at the hospital, if this is herpes it would be hsv type 2 (genital)
