I found a bump on my vagina lip last week. It started off looking like a pimple and gradually got a bit bigger and is now still pink at the bottom and yellow at the top and a little bit towards the side. It isn painful or itchy but it does sorta bug me while sittif down. What could it be? I unfortunately dont have the money to go get checked. So any answer would be appreciated. I am just hoping it isnt an STD.
it may just be a genital wart or maybe a blackhead although I am not sure about a spot. If it keeps growing then you will have to seek advice.
A bump on the vagina lip could indicate some skin problems below:
- A sebaceous cyst. This type of cysts protrudes under your skin and gives it a whitish or yellowish appearance. It usually does not cause pain and is almost always noncancerous.
- Folliculitis are usually itchy or painful.
- Genital herpes are sores or lesions, not bumps. They usually itch, burn, and are quite painful.
- Genital warts often grow in numbers and resemble cauliflower. They are painless but cause itching and burning.
If you have a bump but it isn’t painful, itching or uncomfortable, it probably isn’t an STD like genital herpes or genital warts. To make sure, I think you should post a picture to ask a doctor online.
