This is my first post here, I’m really desperate and genuinly hope someone can give me some answers.
So I’ve been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, unfortunately for me I have a rare variety where it affects my kidneys as well so at the moment my kidney function is only 21% from all the damage throughout the years. But that’s not what this post is about. I never really experienced many Crohn’s symptoms even though my calprotectin and inflammatory markers are skyhigh. Unfortunately the common meds have only made it worse so my doctor ultimately recommended a probiotic for me to try. I started with VSL3 right away and the results have been quite.. interesting. I suddenly started seeing all types of weird things in my stool. It looked like worms, and some type of eggs, so initially i thought I had parasites. I did a test twice and it came back negative both times.. I started a liquid diet just to prove to myself I wasn’t crazy and it wasn’t food particles and it stayed the same. The weird thing is I have a headache, flu like feeling until I go to the toilet.. After I’m done these symptoms go away. Yesterday I stupidly took a double dose and boy do I regret it. I felt terribly ill and had a fever until.. I expelled these weird yello like objects. They float above the stool. They feel kind of hard. I’m still on a liquid diet so this can’t be food. What is going on with me? My doctor does take me seriously but because I keep testing negative for parasites there’s not much he can do.. Maybe this is something else.. Please tell me someone recognizes what these are..
