Help interpreting my test results please

Hi 

I have been feeling pretty rubbish since having kids, I know that is standard but when I looked at the symptoms of Hypothyroidism, I seem to have every one. I just paid for a private test and just looking to see if anyone can help me interpret them before I see my GP. they all look within the range, but I believe that UK ranges are quite broad.

Try testing for hashimotos disease ..

I think she has. She has test results for antibodies at the bottom of the results

With them being in range, your GP probably won’t start you on meds. They didn’t start me until my tsh was at 10.0. 

Have you had any other blood tests done like vitd, b12 iron calcium?

All your levels look good to me.  I would also suggest getting tested for vitamin deficiencies, such as Iron level, Vitamin B-12, Magnesium level, and Vitamin D.  Vitamin D deficiency is very common these days (up to 80% of the population) and has all the same symptoms as hypothyroidism.   If they are good, then perhaps get your hormone levels tested, being this started after having children, as having children, can mess with our hormones...  Best wishes..

Thanks everyone. Someone I know suggested anything over 2 could be a high result. 

Also just got a test back that my gl arranged 28 hours later and my TSH is now 1.68. Not exactly sure why? Going to book an appointment to see the GP and get all my other results which I think include b12 and vit D.

TSh levels vary throughout the day.. that's why there was a difference between the 2 test.  Stress, foods we eat, vitamins and supplements we take, medications, and even just the time of the day that the test was done, can all effect the TSH level.   You can always get retested every 6 months if it's something you feel strongly about, just to make sure.  I mean.. it's still hard to tell, as in 6 months from now, it's always possible that the TSH level may be out of range.  It's something to keep an eye on...  Best wishes..
