So i was tested today for herpes waiting on results to come back but the doctor said from the looks of things its hsv2. Iv had the sores for about 5 days but my biggest problem is that my partner hasnt had any kind of symptoms is there a chance that he dont have it? We’ve been having unprotected sex for awhile and the doc told me that i had to have came in contact with it in the past month. i have not had any other sex partners in the past few months so i am really confused right now!!!
he may have been asymptomatic. when was the last time that you both had a full panel std test done? I recommend having your partner get tested now as well to confirm.
