I am recently diagnosed with prostatitis and epididymitis. I am currently on meds (antibiotics) however, on my right testicle, it has a pea-size lump probably on top of my epididymus. Is it a cyst? or a mere swollen epididymus that I am currently suffering?
Does everyone who is diagnosed with epididymitis has my kind of problem?
1) Just curious if it is swollen epidymus or a cyst?
2) How long will it usually shrinken?
3) I am taking doxy and levofloxacin, is it good enough? I am infected through bacterial (oral sex).
4) I am quite stressed as I am scared of infertity and long-term pain (which has no cure). Any advice?

I would like to update, the lump is floating and moving around on my right testicle.
J'avais une toute petite boule sur un testicule près de la base. J'ai été orienté vers un scanner pour cancer, les résultats étaient négatifs, ils ne savaient pas ce que c'était mais ont dit que ce n'était pas un cancer. Cela remonte à 5 ans, maintenant elle n'est plus discernable mais n'a jamais été qu'une toute petite chose plate ... oh oui, ils ont dit « plaque suspectée » je m'en souviens maintenant ... seulement repérée lors d'un examen médical d'entreprise par un médecin méticuleux, pour moi elle était presque indiscernable. Un ami est mort d'un cancer des testicules à l'âge de 43 ans, le pic de risque est entre 20 et 45 ans je crois, puis il diminue avec l'âge. Faites un scanner pour cancer juste au cas où. Mais ne stressez pas car ce ne sera pas un cancer, faites juste un scanner (s'ils disent que c'est justifié) pour être sûr.
They usually leave epydemal cysts until they get too big(dont know why perhaps they grow back again or saves money) say eg 5cm, which will take probably 10 years from pea size but quite uncomfortable, peoplehave tried draining them but just fill up again.
