Had an Uncle who had been dx with Hemochromatosis and my Aunt pushed me to get tested. I asked my Internist and he just blew me off like I was a crackpot. Today I got an e-mail of information how hemochromatosis can cause hypothyroid. I have a few of the symptoms, but had not made the connection cause quite honestly I didn't know Hemochromatosis could cause hypothyroid, but now I am beginning to wonder. Before I bring this up again with this internist I would like more info/experiences of how hemochromatosis can mess with our thyroid
