hello everyone, in early september my ex boyfriend has what apeared to be friction burns and a few days later i had 2 little spots that appeared on my thigh close to my genitals. clinics all said it looked like infected hair follicles (first picture) a month later in the same place as the first spots I had a cluster of white spots that looked a lot like herpes. I have not had anything since then or had anything on my vagina. now everytime i get the slightest sting/itch down there i assume it is herpes as my ex boyfriend has since tested positive. i just wanted to know if it was possible/common to just get herpes on your thigh and not actually on the genitals or is it likely its inside me too. is it herpes or could it just be fungal like clinics have told me? also I cant understand if it was herpes why the first outbreak would be so small and the second appear more vicious? any help would be appreciated massively x

herpes can be on buttocks, thighs, etc
i would get these swabbed and ask them to test for HSV 1&2
no they said there is no point in doing a blood test as I had cold sores in my mouth as a child and that I just have to sit and wait for if another outbreak comes
if it was just on my thighs would this be a case of ‘matt herpes’ rather than genital so i can only pass it from that area?
no, i dont believe so, these look close to your bikini line. that would be genital herpes. it would be passed through sexual contact so in my opinion i would still consider that genital herpes. not trying to freak you out! herpes is such a complex virus. it could be something else too! dont worry too much 
is there a chance that it could just be on my thighs and not on my actual vagina though? I wouldve thought if it was on my vulva/in my vagina it wouldve showed with the first outbreak and ive had no pains at all in or around my vagina. thank you for your response❤
