hello im hoping i could get some insight on this. backstory:
i shave regularly. i went to shave yesterday and felt a painful bump with pus in it with a hair sticking out. i went on with shaving. early this morning i squeezed all of the pus out. it was white and just like a pimple. i had to kind of force a good amount of pus out. i know i shouldnt have messed with it. the circled area is what it looks like now. it hurts, but thats to be expected.. since i popped it. this is the only one anywhere near my genital region. does this look like it could be a herpes sore or just an ingrown? i have anxiety and this is freaking me out.

its a normal spot probably caused by an infected hair follicle
herpes wouldnt contain pus like a spot does its a watery straw coloured fluid
