i went to the doctor today because i have some blisters on my vagina i was worried they may be herpes i had unprotected sex a couple weeks ago. The doctor told me it wasnt herpes its something called impetigo. They hurt really bad and when pee gets on them they burn please let me know what it could be

I'm no expert so I'd suggest you ask your doctor for a test just to rule out herpes

well i asked him if it could be that he said its unlikely because of the way it looks. I might go get tested just in case :(

i am on antibotics as well

it does slightly resemble herpes to me, but not 100%

They definitely resemble herpes but I do hope I'm wrong. Did the Doctor take a swab of them? if not I would go back tommorow if possible insist they are swabbed while they are fresh it is the best way to tell right now. otherwise it's a 12 week wait for a blood test.

okay well im just worried so if you could explain how it some what resembles can you let me know i would gladly appericate it

he did not he said that it didnt look like herpes to him but im in severe pain and can barely walk im going to the doctor this afternoon to see what they can do for the pain

they are blisters so they look like herpes, as well as the number of lesions present. the fact that it hurts when you pee is also a tale tale sign that it is herpes. please update with the results

im at the doctor now they are gonna do a blood test honeslty if i have im gonna feel so disgusted with myself 

yeah thats what the stigma to herpes makes society think. it can happen to anyone

most def herpes. you have all symtoms . go to another doctor

update waiting on my bloodtest to come back the sores are causing me severe pain are there any suggestion to help with the pain ?

did they do an antibody test? & baths really helped me! using the bathroom caused the most pain for me, i havent tried it but i heard to pour warm water on yourself while peeing helps

im cuttenlty crying from the pain its extremely unbarable i cant sleep and anytime that i move my legs or anything its intense burning. I just wanna be able to sleep already i really need to know the best way to sleep because im loosing sleep

see if your doctor will prescribe you topical lidocaine

is there anything i could just buy at the store i dont have insurance that covers prescriptions and im really low on money right now

just a little update ive been taking the herpes antibotics for about four days and the sores do not seem to be healing im in pain 24/7 im lacking sleep and i have no idea if ill be able to handle an outbreak in the future. Ive never experinced pain like this by now they shouldve started healing
