I'm a fully fledged hippie as of now :-) xx It is 10.00 and I feel so good having beef sandwiches and drinking tea :-) thank you all so much for your help and advice xxx from the time I had injection in back I knew nothing until I woke up in recovery and boy what a welcome relief :-) little bit sore on op side but plenty of painkillers xx gonna get some sleep now just wanted to let you all know how chuffed I am I went through with thank you you lovely hippies from a very new hippie xxxlove Vanessa xxx

Hope you manage I good nights sleep Vanessa. I was discharged this evening and am now in my own bed with a horlicks. No listening to snoring, calling out for a nurse or buzzing call bells!
Delighted for you. Well done. Sleep well now. If ur like me u won't as I was amazed at how old pain free I was immediately. Yes there was surgery pain that eases day by day. Hope beef sambo keeps hungers pangs away til breakfast which will be at crazy o clock. Like 6am 😂
So now you know that there was nothing to worry about;;;;listen to us..we have been there and lived to tell the tale..this week is the most painful time....it will be all better soon...keep in touch Ian +++
Well done girl! Welcome to the other side, I'm 6 weeks post op and I still can't get over the thrill and relief that I've done it!!!
Take care, sleep as much as possible, take all pain killers available and post us all any questions.

Make sure you drink plenty, pain meds as you need them which helps when they get you moving and most of all rest. 💧💊 💤

Make sure you keep an eye on your pain relief and get the pain killers on time to stay comfortable. You will be walking by this afternoon! Amazing!

You sound so happy and you have done so well. It is all over now, everything you do now will take you a step closer to complete recovery and you are even walking!!! Glad you have a lovely team caring for you - it makes all the difference xx
