been on orlistate 2 weeks.i lost 6 kilos before i started it.its going ok just having small amount of fat intake a day and feeling good.the food im eating is bland but no pain no gain.im determined to lose 4 stone.nice to be here.any advice to weight loss???? cheers chris

What are you eating? You don't have to eat bland foods on the tablets at all i never have and have lost a ton of weight.

I find sometimes I really need something yummy and nice, so for a treat I will have chicken and chips. When I saw chips I mean peel and cut some potatoes, chuck them in an acti fryer / air fryer / halogen oven with just a spray or two of fry light and they are gorgeous! I use a salter halogen oven only about £25 and it's great but I'm saving to get an air fryer where no oil is needed at all!

Hi chris welcome I'm new here too. Started orlistat yesterday I'm 15 and half stone and 5ft 3 so need to lose a lot of weight. My dr said to have a lil bit of fat for tablets to work he said I should lose 5% off my weight when in 3 months which I don't kno how much that is good luck

You can eat a whole lot more than that and the only oil you should be using is frylight are you having any side effects? if your stuck on what to eat i have a blog with food ideas if you want it. Don't think you have to limit yourself on food because you don't apart from the obvious!

blog sounds great thanks.im using a teaspoon of virgin olive oil when cooking chicken with no fat and less with fish.my trousers are baggy so thats a good sign
