Had.laproscopic hiatus hernia repair last May. Unfortunately its reoccured and next op will be major surgery.Did feel lot better after op.Important to follow advice after op

Hi, Bob,

I had the same surgery October of 2013, and five months post, started having problems. Finally had a barium swallow 3 wks. ago and have a small hiatal hernia. Tuesday will meet with gastro dr. to schedule an endoscopy. Lots of stomach acid, burping, gas, bloating, and sinus problems. Was was the problem that caused your 2nd surgery?

Hi there bob I had hiatus hernia repair on 1st of October 2014 my op was key hole surgery.had a month off work to recover and went back to work(work in building trade) felt crap for about 8 wk!! As of today 4 month on still have a lot of discomfort in chest and shoulder been told it's like nerve damage from op feel, low on energy and still have problems with getting certain foods stuck after swollowing due to them tightening stomach beer cause me problems too so tend to avoid. Homily will get better with time . good luck and all the best.
