Has anyone with a sliding hiatus hernia had arm pain? I also get bad back lump feeling in throat

Yes both these symptoms are quite common. Also palpitations, heartburn and reflux and an irritating cough especially in the morning.
Try eating small meals and chew the food very well. Avoid eating a large meal at night as this will push up on the hernia when you sleep. Also try to sleep with your head and trunk higher than your lower body. I have found a memory pillow is good. Hope this will help.

My left shoulder sometimes aches but I can't say I've ever had problems with a stuffy nose in regard to HH. I did before I realised I was intolerant to wheat and dairy products and stopped using them.
