Hiatus hernia spasms and general discomfort

Hey guys, just joined here and wanted to ask if you get similar symptoms to me….

32 year old, fit and healthy male.

The classic hiatus hernia, have had for 10 years but has been worse recently 5 months on from losing my mother. Reflux is worse, constant need to belch which is exhausting!

I also get like twitching and a spasm like feels, where the hernia is, it’s so strange, like something is alive In there. Pain when I get up in the morning, immense soreness in the diaphragm area.

I also get SVT - (Supraventricular tachycardia) from my hernia being out of place, sometimes I’ll take a deep breath and it seems to hit a nerve and trigger an SVT.

I say this to the doctor and they just don’t understand the correlation. It’s mad how many symptoms this thing gives.

Anyway does any else get these weird heart rate episodes? I’m trying IQoro, device that is meant to stimulate the swallowing nerves to the stomach.

Just seems at the moment I can’t get it ‘settled’…. Just want a day where I don’t have symptoms from this thing, too much too ask?! Ha.

I don’t know anything about SVT, but I’ve been using the IQoro for a few years now and I can attest to it’s effectiveness provided you use it every day. It resolved my Hiatal Hernia symptoms over about 6 months, but whenever I got lazy and stopped using it I started to regress. I’ve had to restrict my diet somewhat due to mild dysphagia but the device is helping with that too.
I use it first thing in the morning , before the main meal and last thing at night and that works for me. It seems to be a similar principle to exercise - “use it or lose it”!
