Hip revision with cerclage . Cerclage hip revision 2017 due to recalled components. Old components had to be removed from femur . Procedure called femur osteotomy where the femur bone is cut in 3 sections to remove the primary component. Cerclage is a cable wire used to hold the bones together with the new femur component . Wire is now causing pressure on my sciatic nerve. Left leg and bottom of foot numb when I sit or lay down. Also experiencing minor foot drop .
Anyone experience cerclage complications requiring removal of the cerclage wire and nerve damage.
