My health anxiety has been taking off lately and I’m stuck on a previous” exposure “
I am not a person that sleeps around and due to my health anxiety I am very cautious . I don’t know why but lately I’ve been worried an old test result could be wrong . I took an std test including bloods for syphillis, hiv , hep a b and c and all was negative at what I thought was 12 weeks post “exposure “ upon counting the days I realised I actually tested at 80 days not 90 . I am reading conflicting advice on the internet that nothing is conclusive until after 90 days .
Do I need to re tests . I’m in Australia and I’m extrmely nervous sad
NO!! Ur fine , 10 days isn’t going to make a difference .. with new testing u only need 2-3 weeks to know if you got it or not.. 80 days is far more than you need lol
Really ? I’m so confused by the internet . So many supposedly medical sites are stating a person can change to positive in the window period of 6-12 weeks . I feel better that someone has responded though , Thankyou so much
Antibody/Antigen Combination Tests. The CDC recommends these blood tests. ... They check for HIV antigen, a protein called p24 that's part of the virus that shows up 2-4 weeks after infection, as well as HIV antibodies. A rapid antibody/antigen LONG AS YOU TOOK THE NEW HIV TESTING YOUR FINE AND YOU ARE , MOVE ON FROM THIS.
