Hi everyone, I had unprotected anal sex, about 5 and half months ago with a girl. After 10 days I had many symptoms like fever, body aches, diarrhea, chills, headache and all symptoms of a flu except cough.

After 20 days of intercourse me and the girl tested 4th generation elisa together, both were negative, I did two rapid tests after 24 and 40 days of intercourse all were negative, I did another 4th generation at day 47 and qualitative pcr at day 51 all negative.

I did another 4th generation at exact 12 weeks and another rapid test at 4 months and half they were negative too.

Am I hiv free? Or need retest after 6 months?

I had fatigue after flu but the fatigue gone about 2 weeks ago, with the flu symptoms my face started to show big pimples one after another specially around my nose for about 1 month. The flu symptoms disappeared in 4 days.

Any idea?

I believe you're fine, but for your peace of mind do another test and this one will definitely be conclusive. All the best
