How can I treat Interigo under belly that won't heal

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me.

I have interigo, or rashes that always rub and bleed under my belly, I am overweight and need to address that, but I am not sure how i can stop these sores under my belly in the mean time?

For over a year now i put a large fabric plaster over the sores, then change them the next day after a shower.

Sometimes they will be ok for a bit, but if not covered they seem to catch on clothes or my trousers / belt and eventually just bleed again and then takes a while before they are ok again, as its so hard to give them time to get air and dry with normal life going on.

Sometimes they will smell as well when they have opened.

I just don’t know what to do now and i feel like what i am doing is probably not the best way to treat it anyway, but don;t know what else to do.

The last time I mentioned it to a GP, they gave me antibiotics and a some hibiscrub, and this helped a little, but its not long before theres problems again.

At the moment I have 2 sores, which are pretty close to each other, 1 has been bleeding a lot and pretty sore, so I have got a plaster on that, but the other sore, which hasn’t started bleeding yet, is unfortunately having to have the sticky part of the plaster over it, while I am trying to help the one that is bleeding.

I often feel like my boxers/trousers are digging into the under neither of my belly. And if though when standing they may feel fine/loose enough, when I bend or sit, they then feel like they are pushing more in that area.

My job as well means I am sitting all day, so this really all feels like a no win, down hill battle.

Because of the area this is all in, taking plasters off and putting new ones on every day is also a pain, especially taking them off.

Has anyone please got any advice how i can help these heal?

Regards

James

Anyone please?
