Wie finde ich einen guten Arzt?

Hallo,

Ich wurde gerade mit LS diagnostiziert, aber mein Arzt scheint etwas veraltet zu sein, wenn man bedenkt, was ich gelesen habe.

Hat hier jemand Erfahrung mit einem guten Arzt für LS in der Region Philadelphia oder Boston?

Wenn die Seite es nicht erlaubt, Ärzte beim Namen zu nennen, können Sie mir gerne eine private Nachricht schicken, ich würde mich sehr freuen.

Ich habe eine zweite Frage: Ich verstehe, dass Juckreiz ein wichtiges Anzeichen für LS ist. Allerdings habe ich überhaupt keinen Juckreiz, nur Rötung und Brennen. Ist das üblich?

I have had very little itching, mainly burning and redness.

Hi I only ever get itching very rarely but I get burning and soreness I find itching is brought on by hot weather and my other symptoms get worse in heat

Hi Kay, I've had LS for about 3 years (I'm 74) and have never had itching.  I pretty much keep it under control with the Clob and a spray bottle of Borax and water solution.  I just recently bought some Perrin Creme Complete.  It is a restorative skin care product with lots of natural ingredients.  The label says it is for LS among other things.  I have been alternating this new creme with the Clob every other day.  So far its going good.  Good luck to you, let us know how you're doing.

You are fortunate not to have a flare up, as they are called... itching and redness. Try the FB lichen Sclerosis Support Group page. They have lists of MDs. I heard of one expert mentioned from Boston.
