So I've been off Duloxetine for 2 weeks now and have had all sorts of side effects. I ended up in A&E and was asked if I was hallucinating. I said no because I haven't seen anything unusual but how do you know for example if conversations you've had with strangers actually happened? It's freaking me out because I have no witnesses.
Now my own belief is that even when people think they are hallucinating they are not, they are just seeing things that are in fact always there, but we dont generally see them because they are outside our normal narrow band of visual perception.

I sometimes see people and things out of the corner of my eye. I still see our old Dog Pip every now and then and I also see people outside the bungalow as I sit on the net or watching TV, when I look up the person, dog or thing seems to disappear.
The same in the garden I feel someone is standing next to me. One of the strangest sensations is in the evening when the heating is on. If I get up to leave the room I get suddenly very cold, it gets worse in the bedroom or passageway even when the temperature is in lower 70s. Of course as we get older we feel the cold. I always try and rationalise, without any real success.
Sometimes doors open when no-one is there etc life can be interesting. Personally I only mmention it every now and then Pax will bark in an upper corner of a room, I wonder if someone is floating above His head. Dogs are very physic.
