I had a skin biopsy 4 weeks ago and I still haven't heard the results. The doctor said the he would call as soon as the results come back. I am starting to get worried, why would it take so long to get a lump tested?

Not sure where are you at .... but skin biopsy is done within 2 days
I live in Canada, the doctor said it would be normally around a week before the results are back. I am debating whether I should call him to make sure that he does not have my results.

It would be best to contact your doctor, a few days is normally long enough.
Have you had the stitches taken out from your biopsy site yet, that's usually done two weeks later.

Hi Boris: I've had biopsies before but can't remember how long it took for results but it shouldn't take too long. Depends on the doctor! It may take him a while before he gets to the results! He might really be busy. I'd call him and ask.
when i had muscle biopsy it took around 2 months for the results, followed by 3 months+ for genetic testing results.
