Quanto você sabe sobre a saúde do seu fígado?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on liver health awareness after watching several family members get diagnosed with liver disease far too late. One thing that shocked me in my research: most people with liver disease don’t know they have it until it’s advanced.

What surprised me most was how many everyday health conditions quietly increase liver disease risk:

  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Obesity
  • High blood pressure or cholesterol
  • PCOS
  • Sleep apnea

Certain lifestyle and demographic factors further compound the risk. I developed a quick, anonymous assessment to help people understand their risk - Liv-Sanitas - Liver Health Assessment

Use these results as a starting point for discussion with your healthcare provider - just hoping to help people understand their risk earlier than my family did. This tool is not a substitute, but a precursor, for medical evaluation.

I’d love to hear from the community - Have you been surprised by a liver disease diagnosis? Has your doctor ever mentioned the connection between your existing conditions and liver health? What made you finally get your liver checked?

The more we talk about this openly, the more people can catch things early when the damage is still reversible.

Thanks for reading!
