So I madeout with a girl about a week ago or so and the next day I woke up with a sore throat. Throat has been dry and sort of sore, today I found like a canker sore back there, not on tonsils tho. Does this sound like HPV? All we did was make out so I feel as if the transmission rate would be fairly low?

Hpv warts take months to appear, it's not hpv, see a doctor and he or she will help you.

Never got oral sex from the individual. I said all we did was makeout. I didn’t perform oral on her never have on any female and didn’t receive oral.

HPV symptoms usually shown as early as in 2 weeks after the expolour.
And accoding to your post, it is not sounds like HPV.
Keep your eyes on and if anything changed worse or weird, please go to see a doctor.
By the way, HPV vaccinations also could help male to prevent infection.

If your encounter gave oral sex in the past to someone who had HPV on a penis or vagina and not know it, it could be passible to you via kissing. Oral HPV grows and remains in the mouth / throat if ever infected.
