Posted this on zopiclone site as well. Been tapering off zopiclone for few months stopped them completely last Friday. The worst withdrawal symptom has been crippling anxiety through taper, gradually getting worse more I tapered with OCD type symptoms. Just wondered if anyone tried hydroxyzine for anxiety. Don't want to take anti depressants as this taper been hell and can't do another one off another drug. But anti histamines seem less addictive . Had CBT as driving difficult but did nothing, think mainly because it's not actually OCD, purely caused by withdrawing form the drugs, and not improved even though as advised I've kept driving. Hoping now I'm off them things eventually improve but and comments welcome.
