I've had a bacterial infection off and on four four years now. I've tried everything. But just recently I was prescribed boric acid suppositories. The second day I noticed an immediate relief in my symptoms. However, with continued use, I've been bleding vaginally and it doesn't seem like menstrual blood. My doctor said it's normal, but I know it isn't. It gets lighter throughout the day, but when I wake up, it's heavy again after wiping myself. I don't know what to do. Please help
I have heard of bleeding as boric acid can be very drying not heavy though. Try putting coconut oil up there for some relief.
bridget1229 thank you! I tried it last night, still light discharge of blood but def an improvement.!
You are welcome. I make my own boric acid suppositories. I dont but I have heard some people put coconut oil inside the the suppoitories along with the boric acid. Glad I could help!
