I have been anxiety ridden and depressed for the last 6months

I have started Zoloft about 4-5 weeks ago before this I was on Paxil for 10 yrs but it stopped working so I have switched to Zoloft but this far I haven't seen any improvements I am getting scared that isn't not going to work does anyone have any thoughts

I actually have had a bad case of anxiety with a bit of depression for the last four months myself I was on Paxil for about four years and I stopped taking it because I thought it's not working too. Are you sure that it stopped working for you? I actually went back on it and I think it is working again. I tried Prozac but I'm not sure that that worked for me. I am sorry that you're going through this I know there is a very tough thing.

Hi Paul - talk to your doc about it. Perhaps the dosage needs tweaking, or perhaps another med might be more effective. Unfortunately with depression meds, there is no one-size-fits-all answer. It might take a little tinkering, but you'll get there. Best of luck to you.
