I haven't been properly diagnosed with genital herpes, but I have all of the symptoms and my doctor gave me antibiotics for the virus. My GP that I visited the other day said he's pretty sure it's herpes, but he's not 100% sure. I have loads of little ulcers/blisters on my vaginal lips, labia and vulva, and i am in excruciating pain. I can barely walk, peeing is dreadful, I can't eat, sleep or concentrate. The doctor didn't give me anything to help soothe the pain so I would just like some help with that? Also, I've been really struggling to breathe, and when I make one wrong movement my body goes into like shock mode and I start having a fit, is this normal?
Did they take a culture of the bumps? Instead of an anti-biotic, I was given an antiviral. The only thing that has helped me is a sitz bath with warm or cool water and lots of baking soda. I have also been wearing very loose clothing. I hope this helps.
Oh, also, an anti inflamatoey medicine may help with the swelling and pain.
Yes it is normal. My symptoms were like yours except I had a catheter for 2weeks because I couldn't pee. Have your doctor prescribe you these: Valacyclovir are blue pills they're awesome and Zovirax is a cream that will heal the blisters & bumps. These two together is a miracle.
