i had unprotected sex with a guy i know a few times. i got tested for everything possible but when my obgyn checked me, she said i had what it looked like to be a yeast infection. i used monistat and she also gave me a pill to take which i cannot remember the name. i am still waiting on results to see if i have a bacterial problem. i have been having annoying itching, some discharge and a little odor. i had sex with him again and the odor became much worse after sex. i began to itch a little which calmed down before i had sex. could having sex cause it to become itchy again and the odor to smell worse ? my results should come in soon i hope. could having sex while having one (or a yeast infection) make the symptoms worse ? please help me
I think its either a yeast Infection or B.C.. I had the same symptoms when I found out that it was bv and I had to take medicine called flagyl 2 times a day. I couldn't stand the smell during sex and afterwards. I was able to control the smell by taking the pills. You want to eat yogurt that is plain whole milk that contain acidophilus in the ingredients. This hekp control the odor smell. If you find out its BV take what I told you because it helps.
maybe you may wish to try for the last rinse hydrogen peroxide and flush it with water... and drink probiotic beverage...
I would stop having sex until results are in and all meds are finished.
