Now thinking it's more likely I do have ovarian cancer !!! As missed periods are a sign.but of course I've just turned 49 could this be start of peri ? My mum was 47 when her periods stopped,or could it be severe stress that has given me this odd period or it of course could be the cysts!! I am

Now worrying all over again and just so fed up and feel so alone. can someone talk to me please I would so appreciate any reassurance thanks Michelle xx

Stop worrying. You are 49 (not old smile but in the peri menopause stage for sure) . Periods get wonky sometimes short sometime long sometimes long sometimes heavy. They start early and late. They can be all over the map. You've heard the saying things get worse before they get better? That's what happens right before menopause it can last a few years up to 10 years. And the older one gets and closer to menopause you tend to develop Overian cysts, uterine fibroids and or polyps. They are 99.9% beginie. So breathe sweetie. You will be ok !

Thankyou Tricia I'm a worrier always have been, but after two scans and latest one showing 3 irregular cysts and thick walls it's scared me.i have a repeat scan next Tuesday, they haven't grown in size which Dr was pleased about.i know I'm at that age now where my periods are going to start going wrong but I'm convinced they're acting like this cos of the cysts I can't win !! Thanks for your reassurance I do know where you're coming from take care Michelle xx

In a worrier too. So I'm with you there. Just try to believe all is good and just due to getting in the perimenopause age. Good luck. Keep me updated. Take care. All will be fine 😀
