So around November of 2016, I got this weird looking sore on my butt (near my anus). It was an open sore, no itching, just was a bit sore. It took a few days to heal. It left a scar. Every since then, I find myself getting these weird sores around the same area every few months. They’re just a bit sore, no crazy itching, or crazy discharge. I’m just so terrified to get tested because I’m nervous about the results. There was a point in my life where I was engaging in a lot of sexual activity. All together I’ve been intimate with 12 men, some I used A condom with and others I did not. I’m just really nervous as I do my research.

It sounds like it could be herpes, but if it’s only one sore each time, that’s awesome! Believe me, much better than a cluster of sores like many people. Next time you get a sore, I’d go get it swabbed just to give yourself an answer. Don’t sweat it too much. If it does come back positive, I’d make sure next time you have sex you’re honest with the person before you engage in intercepuse. The emotional part of herpes is way worse than the actual physical pain. Good luck to you.
