My partner and I had unprotected sex Monday and Tuesday. He came Monday not in me but it was near my vagina so we got plan b I took it two hours after it happened, then Tuesday the condom broke after having protected sex the first time but he came do we weren’t sure if the second time when the condom broke some sperm might have still been on his penis so we took plan b more then an hour after. Then the following Friday night We had protected sex but I started bleeding a lot. Then the following Sunday night we had protected sex but we took plan B the morning after, and I also took a pregnancy test but it had came out negative. And now I’m 2 days away from my period and feel a little bit cramps but not a lot so I’m stressing out am I pregnant? I have no idea because I always have serve cramps but this time I don’t I need help please!
Plan B is an emergency contraceptive and shouldn’t be used as frequent as this. I know it’s easier said than done but you really need to not stress out as Plan B will have some kind of effect on your menstrual cycle, and it’s probably best that you go speak to a sexual health advisor or even your Doctor about other forms of contraception. I went on the combined contraceptive pill and although I was using that, I still made sure condoms were used, however, I really screwed up my menstrual cycle and it took approx 18 months to regulate completely on its own - with regular ovulation taking place too. Now I use the best form of contraception - we don’t have sex. Instead we’re focusing on being a couple - focusing on each other and our interests and although we may have sex once in a blue moon, neither of us really miss it, especially as we’re not TTC yet.
I took another pregnancy test and it came out negative again I think it’s just the plan b messing my cycle. But I am usually and have always been on birth control but I stopped for two months and I’m still not on and this happened and I’m just really stressed because I never took plan b. I got my period 1 day late which I am surprised because my partner went to talk to a doctor about our situation and they said it would come super late and to keep checking for a pregnancy chance but I guess not, super happy it’s only one day late!
