i have anxiety and I'm also having some health problems that I thought were anxiety related but i don't know if they are anymore. I've noticed I get sore eyes along with a headache and all the time I'm sensitive to light (not like the sun but like school bright lighting) and I see a slight glow around lights at night and I've noticed I bump into things sometimes as if I'm not looking where I'm going. Also if the room is dimly lit I feel like it's darker than it is and honestly it's getting worse and stressing me out because I just found out my aunt has a genetic condition that is gradually taking her sight and now I'm so scared and i don't even know what it is she has she just said she's losing her sight and it's the same thing her dad my grandad has she didn't realise I didn't know he is going blind too what should I do??
Have you thought about going to the opticians to rule out that it could be your eyes?
I have optic nerve pallor. I have fears with the eyes. Best thing thing to do is get a yearly full thorough eye exam. That would be the smartest thing to do. Science jasnt found a fix for the optic nerve as yet they are working on it. Science is eh at best. But it is way better then sitting and worrying. No need to play any guessing games with the eyes ever.
on a positive note you are noting grandparents and you are very young. So that is a wonderful positive. They will have a cure by the time you are a grandparentš¤
I get this too. The sun doesn't seem too bright but when I go into a store or my kids school the lights bother me. Like they are all over the place. Makes it hard for me to focus. The lights behind people are the ones that seem to bright. If someone is standing in front of a window it washes them out.
I also get the darker things as well. My eye doctor says my eyes are fine. Doesn't feel that way.
I am hoping this is all just anxiety and will go away soon.
