i have been doing a lot of research on herpes lately because i got my blood test come back with igM weak reactive igg negative, but i don't have the symptoms of herpes besides i have ulcers on my penis that are not form from blister, not pain at all, discharge some yellow thick fluid and it heal without scabbing. All the information that i got is igm is not accurate and should not be tested because i have been freaking out since i got tesed and it doesnt even not approved by CDC. The info that i got from internet was back in 2013 and my worry is does it still inaccurate in 2017?

Sim, ainda é pouco confiável e não é recomendado. Você deve testar para IgG, se não houver lesões ou sintomas para swab, lembrando que o kit de teste HerpeSelect IgG também não está isento de seus próprios problemas (ainda muito melhor que o teste de IgM).

Sempre que me refiro a IgM ou IgG, é sempre específico para HSV, a menos que eu diga o contrário. Então, sim, os anticorpos específicos para HSV.
