Last few days had an itchy left nipple. I accidentally went to scratch it today and to my surprise it started bleeding slightly. It looks like it’s sticking out more than the other and feels firmer. What could this be?
It may be a touch of eczema and you could try a 1% steroid cream on it for 3 days but absolutely no longer. Are you wearing artificial fibre shirts?If so,the fibre may be rubbing on your nipple and causing the problem. Try to wear cotton only.
If this gets worse, or you get a discharge from the nipple or the bump gets bigger then do see your doctor.
