two days ago i was shaving ans felt 2 small lumps on my outer labia they were skin colored no head did not hurt or itch never would have noticed untill i felt them. im prone to razor bumps and ingrown hairs figuring thats what it is i dug my tweezers out and picked at it i couldnt find a hair or puss and now its swollen from where i messed with them i have been with the same partner for 10 years. and we have both been faithful. i do have HPV but was told its not the type that causes warts. i cant stop worrying about it and trying to pop it. what is this? i have an appt on tuesday.

although you stated that you pick at it and found no hair but i think that it is actually ingrown hair, ingrown bumps always swells when you irritate it.
i so hope that is the case ive been warm compressing it and trying my hardest not to mess with it i have horrible anxiety tuesday can not get here fast enough.
it looks so much better. i really think i may have infected it by picking at it… still gettig it checked on tuesday will update.
get it checked to have peace of mind, but looks just like 2 ingrown hairs, you should consider getting the gardasil vaccine, this way you’ll he protected against most of the dangerous strains of HPV.
oh i am forsure getting it checked!!! i have an apt on tuesday and saved the pics for ob!! can i get the vaccine even though i already have HPV? i dont know which strain i have i just know its one that does NOT cause warts, but is high risk for cervical cancer. i had a full hysterectomy 2 years ago but i still get yearly exams to keep an eye out.
