Hello, I started on 25mg of Sertraline 3 weeks ago for a panic disorder. I had quite a few side effects, including increased anxiety but my sleep was totally uneffected and I was sleeping the best in months. my side effects completely passed by just over 2 weeks, so my doctor said to up it to 50mg, as 25mg won't do a whole lot. He told me I probably wouldn't have any more side effects because my body has had 3 weeks to get used to the drug. I took my first 50mg dose this morning and generally felt ok, maybe a little more anxious because I was scared to uo the dose after feeling worse at the start. Felt ok all day, then as I went to bed I feel tingly all over, panicky, clammy feet, restless and I can't sleep. I can only assume its the tablets, but because my doctor said I wouldn't get more side effects, it's made me feel more panicked. Did anyone get side effects again when increasing and how long do they take to pass? Please no bad/scary replies. I panic enough as it is!
