Background info to be disclaimed: Recently ended a relationship (havent seen or slept with ex in 2 months – 8 WEEKS) and recently found out he’s had HSV-2 since 2018. He did not disclose the info, and I have never experienced any symptoms. Recently, I have had this bump on my outer labia and I am wondering if it is a herpes sore of a mild breakout or if it is simply an ingrown hair. It DOES NOT hurt, but it DOES itch sometimes. Went to get tested and I’m negative for chlamydia and ghonnoreah, but my vagina does itch. No abnormal discharge or smell. No rash or irritation, and I am in the ovulation stage. I am concerned with this bump and will attach a photo below.
It is hard to tell from that picture but it looks like a infected follicle.
so I don’t know the status of this.. but I used to get irritated right there from my underwear that looked alot like that. apparently the laundry soap we switched to my skin wasn’t a fan of. for me, turned out being a pimple. fingers crossed for you! let me know!
