I have what seems to be internal tremors alot ,do any of you suffer with that as well? Is it a fibro thing?
Internal tremors? I mean I get shaky a lot, mostly in my hands and forearms but sometimes in my legs and knees as well. You mentioning internal though makes it sound more specific and I wonder if I am overlooking your question?
Hi Diddy c I get shakyness in legs and hands, sometimes not all the time. its only happened since having fibro.
Hi DiddyC.
I get what i can only describe as judders like i'm going to have a seizure or something. it's really odd. It feels like it's my whole body is having muscle spazms but every muscle at the same time.
Yes it's like the body shakes on the inside, it makes me feel like low blood sugar or something, mine is normal. Makes me feel weak, unsteady kinda, I HATE IT! It happens everyday too. I hate that others deal with this too. It does sound like a fibro thing sadly!
Yes, I get these too, there are so many varied symptoms aren't there? So many of them are hardly spoken about or mentioned.
Thisee internal tremors are weird, I get loads of muscle twitching and sudden muscle jerks. The twitching is continuous in both calves , but rest of twitching spread throughout the body.
Do you experience tremors in certain muscles more in some muscles than others?
Rebecca, it's more like an earthquake in my center that radiates outward through the arms and legs but you can only see a slight shaking in the hands. I hope that makes sense. I get the twitches some in the legs and back of arms. My pain is mostly in my lower back hips and legs. I have a hard time keeping my legs still because the ache so bad!
Hi
I get them most days in my legs and ankles where I nearly fell down the stairs x
yep, that's how i feel with it too.. and yes sadly it's just one of the many suck ass symptoms we have to put up with.
I'm glad you didn't. It's crazy how it can just hit you unexpectedly!
Hi yes I have the same thing had them the other week that's bad I spilt boiling hot water very the side instead of in my cup and then dropped my lunch . Dame tremors. Big hugs to u x
Me, too. When I'm nervous, scared, cold, tired, just shake so much that I've been asked if I have Parkinson's. Thank G-d I do not. I also have tremors in my hands which are a pain when writing on the computer. My passwords gain extra letters easily.
I also get sudden weakness in my legs, it's scary and It feels like I'm going to fall. I have to sit down quickly, or hold onto the furniture. Guess it's all part of this neurological disease. Some day there will be cures. And maybe even causes.
What's more I have a three story house and I was coming from the top floor with my baby !! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I suffered with internal tremors for years I was told I had CFS/ fibromyalgia I was told every test had been done to eliminate other illnesses I was told all my thyroid tests were normal I was told there was absolutely nothing wrong connected to my thyroid I was told the blood tests proved there was nothing wrong with my thyroid I was told I was stupid , imagining things it was all in my head, nothing wrong with me and I was just depressed!!!!! Apart from the tremors I had a miriad of awful symptoms all pointing to thyroid disease but all because a blood test came back from labs within range thyroid was dismissed. It took years of suffering the most dibillitating illness before I got the correct diagnosis and treatment and now I have no pain in joints and muscles, no foggy brain , lack of concentration, pins and needles, numbness in arms legs and head, headaches, sore throat , pain in jaw, pounding heart, palpitations, carpel tunnel, dizziness, insomnia etc and of course dreadful fatigue. The symptoms are much the same for cfs/fibro as of hypothyroidism. Thyroid blood tests are renowned for being unreliable medical students and doctors are taught to diagnose thyroid illness by what is considered to be the gold standard blood test for hyper and hypo thyroidism . Gone are the days when a GP or doctor would go by signs and symptoms that were pointing directly at thyroid disease and prescribe thyroid replacement hormone and make that patient well. My advice ask for antibodies tests ask for a trial of thyroid hormone do your own research into hypothyroidism and autoimmune thyroiditis. Hashimoto is an inflamatory autoimmune disease that attacks the gland and blood tests will be normal until your thyroid is so damaged or completely destroyed . I hope this helps . ( internal tremors are a direct result on the nerves caused by damaged gland )
I once again have been deleted by the moderator why I can only assume they don't like me giving an alternative route for people suffering to look into !!!! The biggest faux pas in medical history is misdiagnosis of thyroid disease ! Thousands of people are suffering needlessly because doctors and endos diagnose with TSH and T4 blood tests and when they come back normal thyroid is dismissed !
Yes I agree, I have however , done the test on my thyroid and it's good. I have a complete work up every 6 months. The only thing that runs low on me besides low blood pressure, low blood sugar, slow heart rate and low body temperature is I have low vit. D usually. SOMETIMES I Wonder If I'm ACTUALLY Alive!!!! lol.
Just to add low basal temperature is a definite symptom of hypothyroidism doctors always checked for this plus other signs and symptoms for a diagnosis of hypothyroidism before the new standard TSH and T4 blood test became the gold standard for thyroid disease. Some thyroid ranges are set too high so hypo is dismissed also in hashimoto disease ( autoimmune thyroiditis) blood tests will come back normal until your gland is completely destroyed by antibodies . Maybe worth you asking for peroxidase and antithyroglobulin blood tests .my blood tests were normal for years but I actually have hashi which is the biggest cause of hypo and suffered the most dibillitating symptoms for years it was only when I was given a trial of thyroid hormone replacement that I became well and given the correct diagnosis . By this time an ultrasound showed gland shriveled and inflamed . Some times I felt I was dying and sometimes wished I was !
Same here, i had my thyroid tested 3 times including what they called indepth analysis, (what ever that means).
I also can't maintain my vit D levels, it just wont stay in normal range so i have prescription suppliments for it.20,000iu mega dose to get it in normal range then 1000iu a day maintanace dose and blood tested every 6 months.
My mother had hers thyroid removed and is on replacement therapy. So far mines been okay. Doctor told me that temperature sensitive is a fibro symptom. Sometimes I'm so so cold only a hot bath and my thick robe can warm me up. It's also a side effect to my kidney disease....my kidney disease is also the cause of my low vit. D.
