I am a 22 year old male that exercises 6 times a week and before all of this started I thought I was perfectly healthy. This all started about 2 months ago with a series of panic attacks. One was so bad I went to the ER and they did an EKG on me and told me I was fine. I wasn't too sure about their diagnosis so I scheduled an appointment with my family doctor for a couple weeks later. The doctor did a physical which i passed easily, ran a chest x-ray and it came back normal, and ran a blood test which showed I had normal cholesterol, vitamin D levels and white blood cell count. This was reasurring, but I have still dealt with some very weird symptoms since my visit which was over a month ago. I have aching pain throughout the left side of my body. I feel that at times it is hard for me to take a deep breath/to completely fill my lungs with oxygen when I inhale. At times I have aching leg pains in both legs. I get tunnel vision often when I look at a TV screen or my cell phone. I also occassionally get shooting pains all over my body. I notice the pains the most when they are around my ribcage because when they happen it is very painful and hard to breath for a few seconds. These symptoms have caused me to worry much more than I ever have before in my life. I can't go a day without thinking that I may have a heart problem, cancer, or a neurological problem like ALS. My anxiety attacks stemmed from a breakup with my ex girlfriend, but even though I am handling my relationship problems better than before, the symptoms have not subsided. If anyone has had similar problems or has any advice for my I would appreciate it very much! Thank you!
You sound exactly like me. I exercised all the time. 2 months ago I had a panic attack that sent me to the ER. Everything was fine. Went to a cardiologist and everything was fine. I have the same symptoms you do.I get random heart stings and chest pains. Yesterday night I felt like I couldn't breathe or forgot how to breathe. I get spasms all over my body andoes sometimes I wake up super weak or agitated. Anxiety is a monster and manifests itself even more when you think about it. I always think I have heart problems all the time. If you go look up anxiety problems and heart disease symptoms they are almost identical. That's why alot of people go to the ER. It's just anxiety man. If you already got checked out then it's nothing to worry about. I feel your pain though as I am going through the same thingoes every day. I was to the point I was scared of doing any physical exertion. I still am. But I'm slowly getting back out there. You are not alone my friend. Oh and I'm also 22. So what a coincidence
Wow i am going througj similar. I had went to a and e as i couldnt breath. They gave me a piriton said it was hayfever. I think it may have been a lanic attack. My symptoms are more around my neck and mouth area. I have a dry mouth, dry cough and my theoat feels tight. No matter how much i tell myself its anxiety it doenst get any better.
I am a lot like you in terms of the pains all over and in the legs. I used to also work out alot, in fact I was a 5k runner. But a few things in my life went downhill so I was no longer working out n I was constantly very stressed. I suffer from depression too. After my anxiety attack, 2months later my ex broke up with me. That only made it worse. It's been 5months now and I'm wondering if the pains will ever go away. Even when I get a break for a few days they come back. I've started running again, like 10 minutes even 3times per week. But I'm so scared I'll hurt myself. I even put my hand over my heart n when I felt how fast it was beating I stopped running n walked. It's ridiculous I know but I'm a severe hypochondriac
