I had unprotected oral with someone in May and have been experiencing a lot of differences in my facial area. I have white spots on my upper lip, likened to fordyce, where it meets the lower one, small pin sized spots in cheeks and a tingling around my nose, it also feels really oily at times and the skin on my face is becoming quite dry. The tip of my tongue is also sore at times. I have had all STI tests and HSV1 showed up positive, now I don't know if this was always the case but its showed up. I have had no eruptions or outbreaks and no real pain anywhere just what I have mentioned above. I realise the test showed positive but its been over 15 weeks since possible exposure and I'm yet to see a lesion or sore. The mentioned symptoms have been consistent for at least 10 weeks. Can someone relate to this or help me out somehow.
most people dont know they have it they can have it years and never have any break outs iv only ever had 3 cold sores in my life an iv only gotten them when iv been run down or ill with flu ....i never got any of the symptoms u are experiencing
herpes wouldnt cause symptoms that last for 10 weeks either
Its really causing me worries. I've spoke to GP about it and Sexual Health specialist and they dismiss it being herpes or HPV, if it was Herpes on my lip would I know about it or can it stay in a mild state just showing dots on lips?
Also, would it be there for this long without progressing?
I'm just confused by it all to be honest.
It may actually be longer than that. I think I should go back to GP and explain my worries.

the longest iv had a herpes spot on my lip is for 12 days they can last up to 14 mabe a couple of days longer but not 10 weeks what u have sounds like its something else even tho u have a positive test for hsv1 i dont think u have any of the symptoms of it some people dont get spots some never get them like i said iv had 3 and im 38 iv had it since i was about 16

u would have some kind of visual sore or blister
Do they hurt when they appear?
I only have itchiness, like an allergy or something. But like I say, its been many weeks.
mine tingle and itch and i get a visable lump then a blister forms then the blister pops and then scabs over then the scab falls off all in about 7/14 days then its gone
Do they at all ever resemble a small white head pimple, I had one by my nose and popped it, a small thread like white substance came out, and left an open pore, which healed up fast. I'm thinking this isn't herpes.

its dosnt look like a pimple they look like open sores or blisters im pretty sure ur worrying over nothing
