Is this an HIV Rash

hey. this rash came up on the side of my neck a couple of weeks ago. not really itchy. i notice it looks worse after i shave. i did feel sick that week on one of the days. Stomach was bothering me, but i never vomited or had diarrhea. had a fever and was a little achy. it was a 24 hour bug if that. just freaking out its HIV. its been a couple months since i've been with anyone.

I even could not see any rash, and I am pretty sure that they are not HIV rash.
Just wondering if you have unprotected sex with someone who you not sure about his/her HIV status or you have sex with people who is HIV positive?

Regards,

might be an HIV infection, symptoms looks like that .. you had fever, aches and rashes too..lymph nodes swell occurs if infection increases.

I would suggest you to take HIV test to avoid this panic situation. are you sexually active? is it showing in 2-4 weeks of last sexual intercouse?

I dont think so thats an hiv rash it might be some infection but go for check up once if you were sexually active and had unprotected sex

i did perform oral a couple of times on a guy. that was about a month ago.

u had oral sex couple of month ago so really it shouldnt be any STD

I did that all the time, and it is really very low risk. (1 in 2500, 0.04% of infection).
The rate I provided is based on the person who receive oral sex is HIV + and did ejaculation into your mouth and you have bleeding/inflammation inside of your mouth.
Therefore, the risk is very low.
I will not go to check if my only concern is oral sex, but if you want to be sure, then go to do a test. I am very confident with a negative result.

Regards,

What is the symptoms?!!
You CAN NOT based on fever, rashes, lymph nodes swelling to judge on HIV infection.
Also, the sex behaviour is very low risk. when we give suggestions towards HIV infection, we do not focus on symptoms as about 70% of new infection will not develop symptoms, or minor symptoms. We pay attention on behaviours, then give decision.
Regards,

I totally agree with you.

What do you mean?
Of course it could be STD infection, but not very possible for HIV infection.

Regarding on checking up, I recommend you to do a full screen test as you may get infection by the other stds. like chlamydia, syphilis…
But again, I will not worry that much.
Take care and good luck

yes, other STD ARE possible but after couple of month … may be not really then
