I just got these two sores, I think yesterday. They are mildly painful. Does this look like Herpes?
Hello, unfortuneately it does look like herpes. Get a HS1 and HS2 test asap to confirm this.
I think it probably is Herpes. I think you also have more than one sore. Get yourself tested and treated.
Update: Got it checked out. Confirmed it is HSV-2 and now I am taking Valtrex. Thanks for the replies.
Also, to anyone who wants to do a test. I learned that a blood sampling is not good if its your first breakout because the particular anitbody hasn’t devloped yet. So my test from the blood sample came back negative but, with the swab directly from the sore - it came back positive. Just a heads up.
