My symptoms are: 1. Having a smelly penis when i retract my foreskin, even right after i shower (with and without washing with soap). I do also pat dry the head of my penis before rolling the foreskin back up. 2. The head is very shiny and tight but can also be shiny and wrinkled. 3. The head is very sticky to the foreskin making it slightly uncomfortable to retract sometimes, unless done slowly. I have already tried using clotrimazole cream and a fluconazole tablet with no luck. So I doubt it is a fungal infection. I also don't have any other skin conditions other than athletes foot, but as above treatments for fungal caused balanitis have done nothing to help. The only other thing I suspect is a bacterial infection as I don't think it can be anything else as how is it able to get its bad smell 10 minutes after a shower. I've had this for over 2 years now and have never been to the doctor about it because having a Dr. inspect my penis just sounds weird and I'm not comfortable with it. It hasn't really gotten any worse or any better. I am 99.999% certain it is not an STI as all my partners have been very hygienic and I had this issue before I was sexually active. Do you think a bacterial infection could be the case? Could the shininess be caused by lack of moisturisation?
