I have two red irritated spots (see pics: Album — Postimages ) on the shaft of my penis, kind of right at the place where the foreskin folds over the head. I have had the spots for a few months, my guess is that they were caused by a fleshlight toy that was too rough which damaged the skin, and are thus a result from a friction burn, but I’m concerned at how long it is taking to heal. I read that friction burns should heal in 1-2 weeks?
The spots calm down and basically disappear after I don’t masturbate for 1-2 weeks, but seem to persistently return and get aggravated when I masturbate, even if I’m gentle and use lube. I have done multiple streaks of not masturbating, keeping the area clean with water only and then pat dry, letting it heal for 2 weeks without touching it, but it keeps returning. Yesterday it got aggravated really badly on one side.
Is this friction burn or something else? I did an STD test a few months ago and it came back clean. I can’t see a doctor until next month..
