Hello, I shaved and then had sex one time the first half with a condom the second without and then had sex again with a condom, I then thought I gad a yeast infection and I went and got monistat, on my second day of monistat, I experienced ALL the flu like symptoms, then it was gone the next day and I noticed these bumps, I went to the hospital becuase they hurted and I seriously wanted to be tested, and he said they do and dont look like herpes, my sister said they do, I went to urgent care today and got tested, I thought they could mean anything else but herpes, someone help me

Si tenías las ampollas/vesículas en ese momento, realmente deberían haber hecho una prueba de hisopado y es una lástima que no lo hayan hecho. La prueba de sangre IgG para herpes no es útil si se realiza demasiado pronto después de una nueva infección, ya que aún no habrás desarrollado anticuerpos. La prueba de sangre IgM para herpes es poco fiable, inexacta y no está recomendada por los CDC. Si aún tienes las ampollas/vesículas, puedes intentar que las hisopen lo antes posible, pero la prueba de cultivo pierde precisión con el tiempo (el hisopado de PCR es mejor, pero puede que no esté fácilmente disponible).
