How long has this been there? You do not say whether you have been sexually active?
Here is some information from a medical source about typical Herpes symptoms:
.
When symptoms occur soon after a person is infected, they tend to be severe. They may start as small blisters that eventually break open and produce raw, painful sores that scab and heal over within a few weeks …
Yes i have been sexually active . This bump has came and went away in about a weeks time. i have been having recurring bumps like these for the past year. But it always starts as just one solid single bump. Sometimes 2 at a time. But never painful or it never scabs up. it just goes away after about a week. They don’t ooze or break into small clusters
So, no indications of herpes whatsoever - there is only the likes of a virologist that would be able to 100% confirm that this is not STD / STI related.
With things like this there could be some level of irritation going on and this can be linked to your regular or normal activities that may produce sweat in the area on a regular basis.
You could experiment, but this would most likely require that you shave and keep smooth the area where the bumps occur during the time none are present.
If you are an active person, do physical sports training and / or gym workouts (usually, pre-virus times) then controlling the build-up of sweat may be something that may help.
So regular showers, the area must be completely dry after a shower and you must use clean dry towels that ONLY you use - for each training or activity session, or gym workout freshly laundered shorts should be worn … if you are an active person.
