question is this herpes or cold sores? ive been getting chapped lips and excessive dead skin but usually i wake up for weeks now and im okay but then i start getting these red spots
any ideas what it may be? they dont develop as blisters and i started using cold sore chapstick just in case but no idea wjat this is

I don’t see anything that looks like herpes on your lips.
If you feel that they are a little swollen or sensitive, it could be due to some topical or food allergy or even a sunburn.
