Is this normal period pain location?

okay so.. for the past weeo ive had right ovary pain. today im finally coming on my period and im in alot of pain.. but my pain is on my right ovary and not actually centred where my uterus is.
i googled ovary pain and all it says it that its common to have ovary pain on one sofe when oulatng and the pain is caused my the realise of an egg.. however i am not ovulating.. im ON MY PERIOD..
so is it normal to have period pain (sharp tender cramp) on your ovary rather than just widespread across the lower abdomen/pelvis or whete your uterus is located?

its a dull ache but the sharp cramp comes in waves… i am still getting the back ache and aches in my thighs too

is this just normal period pain? freaking out a little.

i had right sided ovary pain it was caused by pelvic inflammatory disease it can be a sign of many things aswel as cysts ..infections ovulation etc its better to go see your doctor for a proper diagnosis specially if it a new pain and lasts longer for a week
